  Married: According to "Tennessee State Marriages, 1780-2002" an Edna McArthur married Earl Seagroves on 4 Jul 1918 in Polk County, TN and married J. A. Robinson on 30 Nov 1923 in Polk County, TN. The Findagrave.com entry for Edna McArthur, 15 Oct 1902-17 May 1974, says Edna was born in Oklahoma and that she was married to both William Earl Segraves (4 Jul 1918, Polk Co., TN) and James A. Robinson (30 Nov 1923, Polk Co., TN) While it is possible that an Edna McArthur married both men, she would have had to marry Earl in 1918, given birth to his son, William Earl, Jr. on 1 Mar 1920 and lost him 6 days later, then divorced the father who left for Texas in time to be there in Bowie County for the 1920 census. The James A. Robinson who is linked to Edna McArthur Robinson on Findagrave.com appears to be a James Alpheous Robinson born in Cherokee County, North Carolina in 1882. That James A. Robinson is listed on the 1930 census in Shoal Creek, Cherokee County, North Carolina married to an Edna L. Robinson, 27, born in Oklahoma. There is an Edna L. Robinson on the "Georgia, Death Index, 1919 - 1998" who died in Pickens Co., GA on 17 May 1974 at age 71, suggesting a birth year of 1903. That is the same information for the Findagrave.com entry for the Edna McArthur Robinson linked to William Earl Segraves, showing her buried in Talking Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickens Co., GA. I suspect, but cannot prove that there were 2 Edna's married in Polk Co., TN. One who married William Earl Segraves and mother of the son who was born and died in 1920 and may have either died then or divorced Earl Segraves who moved on to Texas. And, one who married J. A.
