    • Seagraves-Bloomer Marriage Announced
A marriage of interest is that of Miss Rose Clare Bloomer and Mr. Lawrence M. Seagraves, which was solemnized with nuptial high mass this morning at 5 o'clock in the chapel of St. Thomas Hospital. Rev. Father A. B. Parker, chaplain of the hospital, was the officiant.
Preceding the ceremony an artistic musical program was rendered by Mrs. Baxter Moore, who sang "O Promise Me' and Miss Bertha Ultch who sang Schubert's "Ave Maria." Mr. Robert Strobel was the accompanist and played for the entrance of the bridal party.
The bride, who is a graduate of St. Thomas school for nursing, was charming in her traveling costume of brown satin with accessories to harmonize. Her bridal bouquet was tea roses and lilies of the valley. The bride's attendant was her sister, Miss Lillian Bloomer, who wore a beautiful pencil-blue satin dress. Her corsage bouquet was of pink roses.
The best man was the groom's brother, Charles Anderson Seagraves. Mr. Sagraves, who is the son of Mr. & Mrs. James M. Seagraves of this city, is connected with the firm of Martin & Rollow.
The ceremony was followed by a breakfast of beautiful appointments. The bride and groom after a short wedding trip will be at home in the Fort Bela apartments. [1]
